My current research interests focus on neural plasticity following a therapy program for people suffering from schizophrenia. I am interested in the healing aspect of humor and positive emotions and how they can be enhanced in patients (EKFS project). Furthermore, my work focusses on the neural mechanisms of social cognition within a social decision environment in healthy humans and how these processes are altered due to mental disorders.
